Check-in: You are welcome to check in from 4pm on the day of arrival.

Check-out: We politely ask that you vacate The Byre by 10am on the day of departure.

Sorry, we do not allow dogs at The Byre.

We do not accept children under 5 years old due to the large deep pond in the garden. Please ensure any children aged 5 or over are supervised at all times.

The Byre has its own car parking area which can fit two cars. There is also an electric car charging point.

Due to the historic nature of the building and the garden being on two levels, The Byre is not wheelchair friendly. If you wish to visit and have any questions with regards to accessibility, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss any specific needs you may have.

Yes, we offer complimentary wi-fi for all guests. Due to our countryside location, phone signal is not strong, although there is a small amount depending on your provider.

No, there is no TV. The ethos of The Byre is connection, whether that be with yourself, your family or nature and we therefore made a decison not to have a TV in order to encourage those connections. However, we do offer complimentary wifi so please feel free to bring a device if you want to chill out and relax whilst watching a film.
